Had a cassette of theirs back in high school, and a sticker of theirs on my skateboard. Still do, on both counts. The reason they’re up today is thanks to Glenn Case. Not that he has any connection with them, or even knows they exist, possibly, but…

…I’ll be damned if they don’t sound really similar. The video’s live, and the singer’s a couple steps lower than his studio tone, but wow. Kinda eerie. He’s also the one who started off this song-of-the-day thing with his “10,000 Favorite Songs” madness (which is linked on the left, along with others in the same vein), in case you’re asking yourselves “who the hell is Glenn Case?”

COMMENTS / ONE COMMENT

I had never heard of the band, and I had never heard the song but I liked it. I don’t hear much of the similarity, but I certainly won’t take the comparison as a bad thing.

ROCK!

Glenn Case
