End o’ the week, end o’ the theme, and hey, here’s another appearance of The Who’s album, The Who Sell Out. And their Hall of the Mountain King is another solid track (albeit curiously spaghetti western-ish) for this week’s silliness.

Back to raiding the memory of my mother’s 45s, all the way back to 1966… and here we find Neal Hefti’s Batman Theme. On the flip side is a waaayyy groovier take on the theme, Batman Chase.

And hey, guess what, here’s two more versions, courtesy of The Who (also from 1966), and The Jam (released 1977, with a way tight, more uptempo, and much rockinger take on the theme).
